Educación ambiental y gestión de residuos sólidos en instituciones educativas: Una revisión interdisciplinaria

Resumen

Esta revisión sistemática examina la interacción entre educación ambiental y gestión de residuos sólidos en instituciones educativas, incorporando perspectivas de ingeniería química, derecho ambiental y tecnologías digitales. Se analizaron cincuenta estudios académicos publicados entre 2012 y 2024, seleccionados mediante criterios PRISMA en cinco bases de datos científicas. Los hallazgos revelan que los programas educativos ambientales mejoran la segregación de residuos y la conciencia estudiantil. No obstante, persisten deficiencias en la aplicación normativa y limitada incorporación tecnológica. Las intervenciones más efectivas integran componentes formativos, técnicos y digitales de manera sostenida. En consecuencia, se propone un marco interdisciplinario para fortalecer la gestión ambiental sostenible en el sector educativo, enfatizando la necesidad de políticas que reconozcan la complejidad del problema ambiental y promuevan intervenciones escalables y evaluables.
