ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EDITORIAL AND SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEES

EDITORIAL COMMITTEE

a) Identify and locate either current and potential market segments, as well as academic segments or authors capable of preparing and writing the works needed by markets.

b) Make sure the work subject is innovative and that it constitutes a real contribution to knowledge or to the community in general.

c) Propose the organization of the work in an accessible way for the different markets.

d) Clarify what function the work will fulfill.

e) Find the necessary evaluators to establish the veracity of the work, as well as its level of argumentation.

f) Place the work before the academic committee of the publishing house in order to submit it for evaluation.

g) Take into account the level of positioning of the university before the community in certain areas of knowledge, and thus, be able to nurture with them the editorial lines.

i) Take part as evaluators of the papers received for publication or suggest other experts as academic peers.

 SCIENTIFIC COMITTEE

a) Support the editorial committee as well as the editor in the formulation of editorial policy.

b) Advise the editorial committee and the editor when defining the scientific quality parameters of the journal.

c) Invite recognized members of the national and international academic community to publish their work.

d) Promote the dissemination of the journal in national and international academic media [The functions of the scientific committee are taken up from the proposals of the Universidad del Rosario. http://revistas.urosario.edu.co/index.php/desafios/about/editorialPolicies]
