Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Those interested in submitting articles to Anuario will have the opportunity to send them to the Open Journal Systems or the electronic mail account anuariohistoria@uis.edu.co
- The article has not been previously published not has been sent to another journal previously (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the publisher)
- The file is sent in Microsoft Word format.
- The list of bibliographic references has been reviewed and web addresses have been added for those where it has been possible.
- The text is single-spaced; the font size is 12; used italics rather than underlining (except for URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text in their proper place and not at the end of everything.
- The text meets the style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in “About the Journal”.
- If you are submitting to a section of the journal that is peer reviewed, you have to ensure that the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed, they are available in the Journal's Statement of Ethics.

The main file which contains the body of the article is sent along with two attached documents. The first one with the
author's information and the second one, with the title, summary and keywords only.
