Abstract
This paper states the importance of studying and teaching the national history of Venezuela in the light of local and regional analysis in order to recognize the concurrence of distinct particular social times and spaces in the historical movement of society. The author stresses the need to overcome the research and teaching problems of history by means of a theoretical and methodological approach that makes it possible to break down the historical reality under analysis into its components and identify social subjects as part of the articulations occurring within concrete spaces in their respective temporal contexts.
