Abstract

In this article it will be proved that the Brothers of the Christian Schools supportedthe conservative political Project, using the education to keep and promote thetraditionalist ideas from their arrival in 1890 to the first half of the twentieth century,emphasizing the 1948-1958 decade. To this purpose, it will refer to the origin of the community, , the arrival of this congregation in Colombia, its political-educative roleand the conflicts that surrounded it.
