Abstract

It is presented in this work the study of the anaerobic biofilm on residue of cob as support material selected, for fixed-bed reactor of descendent flux ¡n a system of anaerobic treatment of household residual water. It was used as inoculate for the reactor, a mix of native muds coming form both a treatment plan of residual water and pigs' excrements. It was evaluated the genera! operational conditions such as pH ranks, temperature and organic charge concentration that generate a suitable holding in the fixed-bed reactor where it was made measurements of parameters like chemical Oxygen demand (COD), pH, volatile fatty acids, composition of the biogas generated, microbiologic analysis and proofs of optic microscopy on the support material.

Moreover it is showed the implementation of a system hydraulically stable, for treatment of residual water to laboratory-pilot scale which it consists of an anaerobic reactor supported of descendent flux, mud sedimentor, an interchanger of heat transfer and a one passage tube, a feeding tank and a water-resistant centrifuge pump.
