Abstract

One studies the university conflict of 1971 from certain approaches to the national context and the memory of some of its protagonists. An event considered like one of the most important moments of the student mobilization in Colombia. The political and trade union conditions of the student organization are explored to obtain to the triumph of the university co-governance or majority participation of students and professors in the instances of the university direction. These university conquests and protests are related to world-wide the cultural revolution of 1968.
