Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission of a paper implies that it has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication in another journal, and that if accepted it will not be published elsewhere in the same way, in Spanish, English, Portuguese or in any other language.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Whenever possible, URLs are provided for references.
- Text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font; except for the title which is an 18-point font, and the authors which are 12-point font. The article employs italics instead of underlining (except for URLs); all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text and not at the end.
- The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in the Guidelines for Authors section.
- Attach the Copyright agreement and declaration of conflicts of interest signed by the authors.
- This work is under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
- From Vol. 21-1 of the year 2023 onwards, all articles must state at the end the contributions made by each of the authors and contributors to the article.
