Abstract
On May 7, 1711 was born in Edinburgh David Hume, historian, economist and philosopher, who made the latter knowledge a way of life, regardless of which critics of the moment, reviled the skepticism characteristic of their system of thought or recognized the naturalistic vein, also typical of his philosophy.
