Abstract
The main purpose of this article is to present Schelling’s critique of Hegel developed by the philosopher of Leonberg in his Lectures on the history of modern philosophy delivered in Munich in 1836. Schelling, referring specially to the Science of Logic, questions that Hegel identifies God with the concept. For Schelling, this exposure of the Hegelian system is based on the need of the concept, therefore, it fails to consider the existence of God as a free act of self-revelation.
