Abstract

In this text, I examine some concepts that psychoanalysis applies to some of Shakespeare's tragedies, especially to Macbeth, King Lear and Richard the Third. In this sense, it is tried to show, as it was indicated by Freud, that it is possible to exemplify some behavior upheavals with the actions of fiction characters.
