Abstract

The author argues in favor of a correct interpretation of Marx, different from the distorted image that weighs over Marx that has been created from prejudices that have nothing to do with Marx, but with a vulgar Marxism, agaín different from Engels'. lt is necessary to retum to Marx, lo read him directly, for many reasons, but perhaps for the reason that Bobbio has: there is no immediate relation between theory and practice that may enable a judgment against Marx responsible of happened in the Soviet Unían and the víolent actions of subversive groups: and because it is very easy to confirm that we do not have one Marx but many: the economist, the sociologist, the philosopher, the historian, the politician. There is no reason neither to save nor to condemn them ali, We must sit on the line, we must read him.
