Conceptual modeling and implementation of a teamware platform for the support of the activities of the UIS legal consulting

Abstract

This paper shows the Information Systems and Technology Research Group s experience in a development of aTeam Ware platfonn to support activíties of UfSsLegal Services Office, that was carried out wíthín a master degreeprogram:S research project titled "Proposal of an information system conceptual model for legal services office(CJ-UIS) ofIndustrial University ofSantander ", Thís document stars showing the context that motivated the projectstatement, and the structuring of the deficiencies detected ín the organization under study. Next, the Soft SystemsMethodology s methodologicalframework that served like guideline to do the conceptual modeling is presented Inthe same way, a model proposedfor control and tracking CJUISs activities is showed. Later, the ímplementationof the platfonn, which was made using a software development methodology named evolutionary prototyping, ispresented. FinaUy, conclusions and recommendations for later works are showed.
