Abstract

This paper presents the results of a bibliometric analysis of scientifc publications about the systems and technologies for knowledge management during the period 2001-2010 in the database ISI Web of Knowledge and indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index. The aim of this survey is to describe and analyze the trend of publications, identify key scientifc contributions and verify the relationship between the Administration and the Disciplines of Computer when it comes to knowledge management, serving as a guide for future research. The results presented in this survey may be useful for future research, serving as a reference about trends in scientifc productivity, authors, institutions and countries leaders in the area of knowledge management, this survey identifes himself emerging topics and its relationship to other indicators and areas of expertise, which can lead to further research.
