The Superficial Radioactivity in the Field "La Cira" and its possible relationship with the oil

Abstract

In the “La Cira” field of Empresa Colombiana de Petróleos superficial gamma ray intensity was measured  by means of a cintillation counter along four profiles which cross the field approximately East-West. The observed variations seem to correlate with the field limits. According to the knowledge of the authors, the present study is the first of its kind in Colombia.
