How to Cite
Abstract
Global higher education is supposed to be inherently anchored to some of the values proper to modern philosophical and social ideas. If this were not the case, one could not speak of Western Contemporary Education; In comparison, substitution and / or complementation with the Western Original Education of our Greek cultural ancestors.
The insertion of these values would be called modern meanings (Alvarado, 2014, p. 24). Some of the following meanings make us obvious, some maybe not. We will say that they complement each other with the spirit of enrichment - in the light of the culture of progress that we are accustomed to. However, some of these meanings, which we take for granted, when studying them, take us by surprise to bring them up and relate them to the state of the art in education in the global western insert in which we find ourselves today.
