Reflections from private archives Biographical and historical spaces of Eliseo Martínez Hernandez

Abstract

The Regional Historical Archive of the Universidad Industrial de Santander located in
Bucaramanga, preserves significant archival holdings privates, which were investigated,
organized and inventoried under the direction of the author of this article. Recognizing the
importance of researchers serving some results of this work, we decided to publish digital images
of some documents of the Fund Eliseo Martinez Hernandez, 33 degree of Freemasonry. To
complement and guide information thereon, includes an article with some reflections on the
importance of research can have private collections of documents and the construction of
biographical and historical spaces of the documentation being raised producer using its built
documentation source of information. It also added to the article, the classification table and the
inventory of holdings archive.
