Abstract

In 1961, a process of land grabbing began that gave rise to one of the neighborhoods that is known as the bastion of communism in Bogotá. This process, which is part of the struggle resulting from the partisan violence of the 50s and which was accentuated in the area of what is now known as the Policarpa neighborhood, had interesting political elements that led to the creation of the Jaime Pardo Leal school. part of the same community, which decides to make a school for their children. The document takes a historical tour of the foundation of the neighborhood and the school.
