Abstract

This article aims to disseminate the story constructed as part of the work for the title of anthropologist. The story was collected through semi-structured interviews and participant observation. Teresa Faerito, leader, mother, artisan, murui fighter, allows the reader to approach the complex world of cultural change that has been occurring for several years in the Colombian Amazon. Suffering, happiness, anguish, longings and desires, are the feelings through those who find themselves in their own interpretation of their lives, from where the process of a generation of women who articulate traditional knowledge to new home contexts is identified.
