Abstract

The goal of the paper is to analyze the changes the husserlian conception of ethical science goes through from its first comprehension as a special discipline parallel to logic up to its understanding as a universal normative doctrine. With this purpose we will focus on the definition of ethics as a Kunstlehre, which becomes a key concept especially from the 1920 lectures on ethics. Finally, we will offer some considerations on the effects of these changes regarding the relationship between ethics and phenomenology.
