Abstract

This article presents a methodology designed to estimate the parameters of the synchronous machine from measures taken both, in its normal operation as well as in its no-load condition. The methodology uses the PEM method for estimating models in general. This methodology was implemented in MATLAB, and in junction with the software was implemented an acquisition system of electrical signals like voltage and current. The proposed methodology obtains mathematical models of synchronous machine in every level. Finally, it presents the estimation process for a laboratory machine.
