Abstract
Ever since the humanity dominates skies, it has become more and more important, to understand the effects of the altitude, the diminution in the pressure of gases, the acceleration forces in the human body. To fly produces a demand of physiological adaptation, that stops people in good conditions of health and under normal operational situations they do not present/display problems such as the hypoxia, the barotraumatismo, the decompression and hypothermia.
The aim of this review is to describe the various disturbances and physiological changes that occur during air transport of patients as well as its relationship with the atmosphere and the physical laws that govern it.
