Abstract

A review about the developmental dysplasia of the hip, focused on diagnosis and forms of treatment. At the same time, a survey in pediatricians about the knowledge of dysplasia of the hip were performed. We found that 58% of pediatricians had higher scores evaluated, with approving when seven of ten questions were correct. We recommend further promote the awareness of hip dysplasia among pediatricians and general health staff working with children under one year. (MÉD.UIS.2013;26(1):81-6).
