Abstract

This work presents the construction of a virtual classroom that supports the Electrical Machines course of Electrical Engineering program at Universidad Industrial de Santander. For this, it was proposed simulation scenarios on Matlab/Simulink that allows detailed information about phenomena presented in the machine contrasted with lab results. Furthermore, it enables the recreation of different phenomena that due to limited facilities could not be shown. In that sense, the association of virtual classrooms tracks students' progress and develops supplementary activities.
