Diseño curricular de programas para la educación de postgrado: problemas, reflexiones y posibles innovaciones

El desarrollo social exige de procesos continuos de creación, difusión, transferencia, adaptación y aplicación de conocimientos, en correspondencia, el diseño del currículo es uno de los aspectos más importantes en el postgrado.
Un estudio valorativo de los programas evaluados por el sistema de Evaluación y Acreditación del postgrado, específicamente de maestrías durante el período de 2000-2004 arrojó algunas insuficiencias en el currículo que reclaman su perfeccionamiento.
El objetivo del presente artículo es brindar algunas reflexiones y compartir algunas ideas para la innovación curricular, aprovechando el carácter flexible y novedoso del Reglamento de postgrado en nuestro país.

SUMMARY

The social development demands of continuous processes of creation, diffusion, transference, adaptation and application of knowledge, in correspondence, the curriculum design is one of the most important aspects in post degree.
A qualitative study of the programs evaluated by the system of Evaluation and Accreditation of the post degree, specifically of masters during the period of 2000-2004 threw some insufficiencies in curriculum that demand their improvement.
The objective of the present article is to offer some reflections and to share some ideas for the curricular innovation, taking advantage of the flexible and novel character the Regulation of post degree in our country.
