Abstract

This paper shows a reflection that comes from the strengthening of university teaching strategies that are used in learning and teaching virtual environments. These reflections come from the teachers of the program Pharmacy Management Technology at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB) and CES University. Their main goal is the identification of the different stages during the development of the “teleclass”, as a tool of virtual training, which uses television elements. The methodology was based on the qualitative approach of the case study. The particular problem of the study is the curricular development of the “teleclass” as a tool of virtual training, which combines diverse topics related to pedagogy, didactics, methodology, evaluation and audio-visual means. As outcomes we obtained the supplies to analyse the university didactics when using virtual learning and teaching environments. Additionally, it was compiled the importance of the study of television as a teaching tool, as well as the production of this type of means from its creative and technological aspects; the execution of the “teleclass” in both the pre and post-production phases; the script and its contents, meaning and form; and finally, the role of teachers as artistic characters, according to the connotation given by the mass-media in Colombia.
