Resumen
Cada uno de los hallazgos encontrados en las investigaciones evidencian la necesidad de promover una difusión con mayor responsabilidad, argumentada bajo la ciencia. Teniendo en cuenta el papel que cumplen los influencers de fitness en la configuración de conductas de salud en la población, es necesario que se implementen regulaciones que respalden la integridad de toda la información que estos comparten, así como aumentar la colaboración con los profesionales que estén acreditados en nutrición y salud. En fin, la dieta cetogénica, al igual que otras dietas populares, generan riesgos importantes a largo plazo cuando es promovida sin tener un respaldo clínico.
