Resumo

Objetivo: explorar a percepção de enfermeiros profissionais colombianos sobre
a definição e as principais características de um ambiente de trabalho saudável
para a prática assistencial de enfermagem no âmbito hospitalar. Metodologia:
estudo de tipo qualitativo descritivo. Foram realizadas entrevistas
semiestruturadas a nove enfermeiros profissionais recrutados mediante uma
amostragem não probabilística. As entrevistas foram gravadas, literalmente
transcritas e codificadas. A organização e a estruturação destes códigos
permitiram estabelecer categorias e subcategorias. Resultados: da análise dos
dados foi possível estabelecer uma definição de ambiente de trabalho saudável
e foram obtidas duas dimensões (categorias) e dez características principais
(subcategorias) do conceito. Conclusões: os resultados deste estudo permitem
uma melhor compreensão da percepção dos enfermeiros colombianos sobre a
definição e características essenciais de um ambiente de trabalho saudável
para a prática de enfermagem no âmbito hospitalar. Estas descobertas
contribuem para o desenvolvimento de ferramentas de medição dos ambientes
de trabalho saudáveis que se adaptem às condições e à realidade do exercício
profissional no âmbito hospitalar colombiano.
