Resumo
Introdução: a avaliação da Qualidade de Vida Relacionada à Saúde e o estado funcional de pacientes com Ataque Cerebrovascular (ACV), poderia complementar a prática clínica. Objetivo: avaliar a Qualidade de Vida Relacionada à Saúde, aplicando EuroQol-5-dimensões (EQ-5D) em pacientes colombianos com ACV e correlacionar seus resultados com a escala de Rankin Modificada (Mrs). Métodos: estudo de corte transversal analítico aninhado em uma coorte de pacientes com ACV isquêmico na Colômbia com mediana de 3 meses de seguimento (Q1: 1- Q3:3) pós-ictus. Relacionamos os domínios do EQ-5D, índice EQ-5D e Mrs com a pontuação de EQ-5D VAS. Geramos um modelo de regressão linear simples para avaliar a variabilidade usando r2. Resultados: um total de 91 pacientes com idade média de 71,2 anos; 59,3 % homens. Foi encontrada correlação inversa entre os domínios EQ-5D, maior para mobilidade (rs = -0,69) e menor para dor/desconforto (rs -0,52, p < 0,001). O r2 oscilou entre 0,25 (dor/desconforto) e 0,47 (índice EQ-5D). Os pacientes com Mrs 3 reduziram significativamente a sua pontuação EQ-5D VAS em 25,64 pontos (IC 95%: -33,04; -18,24). A variabilidade nas pontuações EQ-5D VAS ocorreu pelo índice EQ-5D (47 %) e por Mrs (34 %). Conclusões: a correlação entre EQ-5D e Mrs foi favorável. Embora EQ-5D e Mrs avaliam diferentes esferas em pacientes com ACV, a aplicação do EQ-5D em poderia fornecer informação multidimensional sobre como a vida é afetada após um ictus, bem como orientar estratégias de reabilitação em esferas como depressão, autocuidado, ansiedade e dor; especialmente relevante para pacientes com deficiências (Mrs 3).
