Abstract
Statistical Physics is high-standard course due to the integration of physics' concepts, from quantum physics to the description of complex systems. As a means to improve teaching and learning methods during the first semester of 2019, ICT and games were incorporated to independent work on this course of the School of Physics at Universidad Industrial de Santander. The main result was the integration of students' functional work teams, a high level of concepts' acknowledgement and the realization of a final project applying what was learned through the course.
